The wxPerl PPM repository has been updated with the latest versions of Wx and related modules.
Now, ActivePerl users can choose between a default repository containing modules built against wxWidgets 2.8.12 and an optional repository containing modules built against the latest release of wxWidgets 2.9.4.
A great addition to the repository is the recently updated Wx::PdfDocument module. This now allows simple substitution of a regular Wx::DC with a Wx::PdfDC that outputs directly to a PDF. It drops in nicely with the existing printing frameworks for Wx::RichText and Wx::Html. There is extensive example code provided for Wx::Demo.
PPM's for MS Windows 32 and 64 bit, Perl 5.8, 5.10, 5.12, 5.14 and 5.16 have completed uploading and are available now. PPMs for Linux and Mac OSX should complete shortly.
