Packaging wxPerl Applications
Applications created with wxPerl can be packaged and distributed for use on other machines where there is no Perl installed.
Cava Packager will successfully package wxPerl applications for Windows, Linux and MacOSX.
These pages cover the use of PerlApp from ActiveState but you may also have success using PAR::Packer.
The module Wx::Perl::Packager assists in packaging wxPerl applications for both PerlApp and PAR::Packer. Wx::Perl::Packager is not specific to the PPMs from this repository but the distributions in the repository are designed to allow use with packaging tools. The changes, if any, made to the distribution to allow it to work both as a PPM and within a packaged application are discussed on each platform specific page.
Wx::Perl::Packager 0.25 is required as a minimum version
Note:
Wx::Perl::Packager does not support the --dyndll option for PerlApp.
Wx::Perl::Packager does not support the --clean option for PerlApp
